The Kilamba building is one of the highest and emblematic buildings in the Marginal of Luanda, Angola.
Completed in 2016, its architecture with glass facades and a slender configuration with over 100 meters of height, requires careful maintenance and regular cleaning. The STEP solution, light and simple, allows for use with scaffolding baskets or motorised abseiling for simpler jobs.

The STEP 4TWO system installed is a motorised system that runs in a monorail surrounding the building and allowing access to all the facades a simple and secure way.

On the 16th September Vertequip’s Patent on the S.T.E.P. system was published, reinforcing the progress that underlies our technology and solutions.

S.T.E.P. has received several international awards www.vertequip.com/prizes and is continuously recognized by the technological advances that it brings into the activities of works at heights.

The patent took over 3 years since its submission to the granted status and its publication, having passed extensive processes of technical selection and investigation.

The company presentation took place at Instituto Pedro Nunes in Coimbra - Association for Innovation and Development in Science and Technology attended by the community of creative and innovative leaders from academia, business from University of Texas.

FISP 2014 - International Fair of Safety and Protection, São Paulo Brazil

 

Vertequip is exhibiting this week in of the most important safety exhibitions in Brazil the 20th edition of FISP 2014, from 8 to 10 of October. (Stand 900-919)

The exhibition is located in São Paulo in the Immigrant exhibition center, gathering almost 700 companies with all the most recent technologies in safety and protection equipment.

Vertequip installed last week the first system in a firemen corporation. The Spanish firemen training center located in Navacerrada Madrid is one of the major center for firemen training in Spain and counts with more than 40 daily operatives.

 

The system was installed inside the facilities at 20 meters of height in the gymnasium room. It will allow the firemen to train for different rescue situations such as mine pits, cliffs, hills and helicopter rescues.

Vertequip participated in the international building and construction fair – Tektónica edition of 2014, in Lisbon. Vertequip was invited by Henkel to exhibit together, allowing the booth to be one the most interactive that generated most attention of the visitors.
The exhibition took place from the 6th to the 10th of May and counted with approximately 40 thousand visitors in total.

ZON OPTIMUS, the biggest telecommunications and entertainment group in Portugal, has installed STEP in one of its OPTIMUS buildings, based in Porto. The investment allowed a reduction of 50% of its cleaning costs while adding a simple way to access any point of the facade within a few seconds.

"S.T.E.P." was presented at world's largest exhibition for the music and entertainment industry in the world .
The Musikmesse and Prolight + Sound 2014 exhibition held in Frankfurt Germany from the 12th to 15th of March 2014 counted with more than 71 thousand visitors and 1500 exhibitors from more than 50 countries.

Together with our distributor for the German speaking countries, Mark da Costa (on the right), Vertequip assured its presence and took the first move into the Entertainment industry.

On the 21st of September 2013 Vertequip inaugurated its Factory in Chamusca, Portugal.

 

With the help of 600k € in funding from the Governmental program QREN, the factory has been ready earlier then expected. The works carried out for several months endowed the facilities with 2 small pavilions of 2 floors each, an office space, a warehouse for finished products and a training room for the S.T.E.P Academy.

 

The factory is equipped with modern machines capable of manufacturing and produce the parts and accessories of the S.T.E.P.
